This months unrecorded squares are near Brecon, Rhosgoch & Pen-y-bont-fawr in north Montgomeryshire. All have easy access with minor roads running through along with several rights of way.

July will see lots of butterflies and dragonflies on the wing so look out for these.

SO0536 Llethercynon is near Garthbrengy 6 miles north of Brecon.
It is easily accessible with a minor road and footpath running through it. There is also a short section of bridleway which leads into neighbouring square SO0436 which is also unrecorded.
There are several small woody copses and lengths of hedgerow which offer the most interest.
SO1950 Newchurch Hill is between Rhosgoch and Newchurch. A minor road runs into the square from which several footpaths and bridleways cross-cross the area.
This well grazed heath is dotted with scrub. There are hedgerows around some of the fields.
