LERC Wales Symposium, Machynlleth. - 25/04/2020

A celebration of recording in Wales and an opportunity to learn about new and current collection & identification techniques used by biological recorders in Wales. It's your chance to find out about these and share ideas.

At the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT), Machynlleth, Saturday 25th April 9:30am (for 10am) to 4pm.  

This Wales-wide event will celebrate the work of biological recorders and focus on new techniques being used to collect and manage wildlife records. If you're a biological recorder, a student or professional working in conservation in Wales our Symposium will appeal to you.

A morning of talks will be followed by afternoon workshops, during which you can take part in demonstrations of new biological recording techniques and how you may apply them in your own biological recording activites.

The Symposium is an excellent opportunity for wildlife recorders in Wales to come together to share best practice and learn new practical skills. General admission is £20 which includes refreshments & lunch and the Sunday field trip to nearby NNR Ynyslas Dunes. There are 10 funded places reserved for students currently studying ecology, conservation or related degrees. B&B accommodation is available at CAT if you would like to stay over.
