This course is aimed at beginners wanting to
get into recording snails. There are around 100 British species. The
day will cover the basics of finding and identifying snails, and give an
introduction to their habitats and biology (not all of them are garden
pests!). The identification of slugs can be a little more specialised,
but the day will also touch upon this.
Thursday 19th April at the BIS office. 10:30am to 4pm.
