From 1st August 2019 the Aderyn A package will increase to £100 + VAT. Aderyn B,C,D will increase by £20 respectively. This is to cover continued development and improvement to the Aderyn service.
The commercial hourly charges for any customised work will increase to £140 for first hour and £110 for additional hours.

An informal & inspiring social gathering (in a pub!) for anyone who wants to be involved with, working on, or studying environmental issues.

BIS will be there along with the Vincent Wildlife Trust, who will talk about their Pine martin project.
This months featured 1km squares are those with no recent records (last 10 years). Carrying on from the unrecorded squares initiative the new criteria will open up more squares for recording, especially those of more interest and are more easily accessible. Visit our website which also offers some common sense advice when recording. As most of the chosen squares will have old records there will also be a link to the species list for that square.

Adam Rowe (SEWBReC) and Roy Tapping (Cofnod) attended the award ceremony on behalf of LERC Wales at the National Biodiversity Network (NBN) Conference on the 21st November. They were presented with a certificate as runners-up, a Moth ID book and a £100 to spend on a wildlife recording project of their choice.

This is a one year contract post for a 0.6 FTE (21 hours per week)
Full Stack Developer to work on Aderyn - a website serving Welsh
biodiversity data to the general public and logged-in users.
The post is working for the Local Environmental Records Centres Wales
consortium and is hosted by South East Wales Biodiversity Records Centre
Ltd (SEWBReC), based at their office in Talbot Green, Pontyclun, Mid
Glamorgan.
