NEW BIS datasets on NBN Atlas of Wales

BIS has added all its relevant data sets to NBN Atlas of Wales. In all it has 855,305 records in 9 Surveys. This does not include county data sets or third party data sets.

1. Brecknock Wildlife Trust records held by BIS
   Brecknock Wildlife Trust species records collated and digitised by BIS. Many are on BWT Reserves or Wildlife Sites but will include general surveys.
2. Brecknock county birds records
   Bird records collated by Brecknock County Bird recorder including recorders digitised from species cards under contract supervised by BIS and funded by Welsh Biodiversity Partnership. Sensitive records have been removed. Other bird records may be included in other datasets managed by BIS.
3. Distribution of <i>Impatiens glandulifera</i> Royle along the river Irfon during June 2010
   A Global Positioning System survey and mapping of the distribution and relative abundance of I. glandulifera along the length of the river Irfon from its source to its outflow into the river Wye. 4. INNS records held by BIS in Powys and Brecon Beacons National Park
   Records held by BIS of Invasive Non-native Species (INNS).
5. Miscellaneous records held by BIS
   This is the bulk of records collated, digitised and held by BIS in its Recorder 6 database excluding any records known or thought to be already on NBN Atlas eg county datasets, plus third party data or where data provider has refused permission.
6. Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust records held by BIS
   Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust species records collated and digitised by BIS. Many are on MWT Reserves or Wildlife Sites but will include general surveys.
7. Natural Resources Wales Regional Data : Mid-Wales
   All records collated from species records mobilised from former Countryside Council for Wales regional files, held at Newtown, Abergavenny and Llandrindod Wells offices.
8. Powys Micro-moths
   Micro-moths collated by county recorders for VC 42, 43 and 47.
9. Radnorshire Wildlife Trust records held by BIS
   Radnorshire Wildlife Trust species records collated and digitised by BIS. Many are on MWT Reserves or Wildlife Sites but will include general surveys.
