County Recorder Norman Lowe will show you how to get into moth
trapping, the equipment you need and how to identify some of the easier,
more common moths you are likely to attract in mid Wales. You'll also learn about
some of the iconic moths that make their home within the Brecon Beacons
National Park.
This event is one of a series
BIS are running to promote the wildlife that makes its home within the Brecon
Beacons National Park (BBNP) and is thanks to funding from the Brecon Beacons
National Park and CLIF bar. Although its focus is on the BBNP and promoting
wildlife to individuals and communities within the Park the topics covered
will be equally valid across Wales and the UK.
This is a free event and is open to all.
