BumbleBees are a lovely little
group to get familiar with. Of the 24 species in Britain there is a 'Big 8' -
the commonest species most likely to be seen. This informative talk will
teach you how to identify the 'Big 8' with tips on ID'ing the other speices.
We'll show you how to encourage BumbleBees and provide homes for them as you
learn about their lifecycle along with some fascinating facts and stories. Take part in the Bumblebee Conservastion Trust BeeWalk survey.
This event is one of a series
BIS are running to promote the wildlife that makes its home within the Brecon
Beacons National Park (BBNP) and is thanks to funding from the Brecon Beacons
National Park and CLIF bar. Although it's focus is on the BBNP and promoting
wildlife to individuals and communities within the Park the topics covered
will be equally valid across Wales and the UK.
