TBC Wildlife Recording Day VC44, near Llangadog - 18/06/2020
Help record all species on this traditionally managed private farm
in the Brecon Beacons National Park area of Carmarthenshire (VC44). Habitats include
meadows, rhos pasture, wet heath, alder carr and a river. Last year Marsh fritillary adults and caterpillars were seen for the first time in 20 years.

The farm sits at around 200m/600ft. The owner is managing her land for wildlife. Habitats include cattle grazed meadows, rhos, wet heath, ponds, secondary & ancient woodland & alder carr. SSSI marshy grassland fields (with lots of Devil's Bit Scabious that has come since being sympathetically managed) which the owners are trying to bring back into favourable condition using traditional farming methods.
